The Black Stars striker joined the side in the summer transfer window after mutually partying ways with Turkish Super Lig side club Kayserispor.

After enjoying pre-season with his new teammates, he was handed his League debut today in a match week 1 fixture against a determined Bengaluru side.

The match ended goalless at the end of regulation time with Gyan making his mark. He impressed throughout the game and came close to scoring in the second half but was denied by the opposing goalkeeper.
