Asante Kotoko captain Richard Boadu will miss his outfit clash against Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League due to suspension.
The tough-tackling midfielder has an accumulated yellow cards and will, however, miss their game against Chelsea.
The Berekum-based club will play host to the Porcupine Warriors in matchday 26 of the domestic top-flight at the Golden City Park on Friday.
His absence will be a huge blow for Kotoko, who are chasing their first win in Berekum in two seasons.
The former Medeama midfielder has been instrumental for Kotoko this season despite the club’s inconsistent performance.
Asante Kotoko are 4th on the Ghana Premier League standings with 39 points after 25 matches into the campaign.
