Asante Kotoko deputy captain Imoro Ibrahim believes he should have been included in Otto Addo’s latest Black Stars squad.

The enterprising defender despite his fine form was omitted from the Black Stars squad which recently faced the Central African Republic and Madagascar in the 2023 Afcon qualifiers, before turning their attention to their friendly against Japan on Friday.

The left-back have provided 8 assists in the Ghana Premier League and is the highest assists provider this season.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM, Imoro Ibrahim indicated he should earn a call up due to his performance.

“I believe I deserve Black Stars call up because it is not easy for a defender to lead the assist table in the Ghana Premier League but then, I feel maybe it is not my time yet so I am still working hard to earn it”

Asked if he is aiming to make Ghana squad for World Cup, he said, “If God permit, I can make the squad”

Imoro Ibrahim played an instrumental role in the Porcupine Warriors title triumph this season.
