The Porcupine Warriors have dismissed transfer reports in the local media involving their players Franck Mbella Etouga and Sheriff Mohammed.

Following their excellent performance in the Ghana Premier League this season, the two players have lately been linked to clubs outside.

Attacker Etouga, who has sixteen league goals for Asante Kotoko this season, is now topping the top scorer's chart.

Sheriff Mohammed, on the other hand, has been linked to a transfer abroad when the season ends.

However, Kotoko's Communications Director, David Obeng Nyarko, has addressed the reports surrounding the two players, calling them "fabricated stories" that supporters of the club should disregard.

"Transfer Rumors here and there .. Warriors, let’s stay focused on winning the league and not on these fabricated stories that has the tendency to create diversion. All discussions and decisions on potential transfers in and out of the club will be taken at the end season. Ok.” he tweeted.

This weekend, Kotoko will travel to Tamale to face the relegation-threatened RTU at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
