Asante Kotoko handed major injury boost ahead of Legon Cities clash

Habib Mohammed has handed Asante Kotoko a huge boost after the defender took part in training ahead of their clash against Legon Cities on Friday.

Mohammed trained with his teammates after been on the sidelines for the past two months with an injury.

He has been unable to play for the Porcupine Warriors since returning from international duties with the Black Meteors team at the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The highly-rated defender is fit and available for selection for the crucial game at the Accra Sports stadium in the on-going Ghana Premier League season.

Coach Maxwell Konadu is likely to include him in his squad for the trip to Accra.

Empem Dacosta and Emmanuel Agyemang Badu have been the preferred centre-back pair for Maxwell Konadu so far this term.

Asante Kotoko made a winning start to the new season with a 1-0 win over Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Baba Yara stadium.
