The Burkina Faso national, who previously threatened legal action against the club, has now confirmed the receipt of his due compensation.

After months of negotiations, Asante Kotoko has paid Zerbo a total of 9,000 USD, equivalent to three months' salary. According to Zerbo he has checked his account and the money is there so he has no problem with the Porcupine Warriors.

“Now there is no issue again and I want to thank the management of the team for paying what is due me. I wish the club all the best and for the fans I say big thank you,” he added.
