Former Ghana coach CK Akonnor believes both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have improved in the ongoing campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors are on the verge of winning the 2021/22 league title at the expense of reigning champions, Hearts of Oak considering the points gap with six matches to end the season.

Kotoko lead the log with 58 points whereas Hearts of Oak sits 4th position with 44 points.

In an interview, CK Akonnor indicated Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have improved tactically.

“This is what we get in this generation, I think they’ve improved in the way we play, the style, tactics and others. I have seen a couple of games from both teams and it wasn’t bad” he said.

The 48-year-old is currently jobless after being sacked as the head coach of the Black Stars.
