The former Medeama SC midfielder underwent successful knee surgery on Wednesday and is expected to return within two to three months.

The 27-year-old suffered a horrible knee during Asante Kotoko's training session ahead of their Ghana Premier League match-week week 24 game against Hearts of Oak.

Blay has managed to make seven appearances for the Porcupine Warriors after sealing a two-year move to the club from fellow Premier League outfit Medeama SC during the GFA's second-round transfer window.
