Former Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah has called on Asante Kotoko to be consistent as they seek to retain their Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors ended the first round of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League campaign at the 3rd position with 27 points after 17 games played.

With the second round of the season set to get underway this weekend, Kwesi Appiah, who is a legend of the Reds has called on the technical team to ensure the playing body are consistent in their performance.

He also implored the Seydou Zerbo to vary his game plan and tactics as well.

“We have to try and be consistent in results," he told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

"Sometimes you need to plan and vary your tactics in not adopting the same tactical play in home matches to away games.

"I am hoping we get a consistent run to win in our matches henceforth," he added.

Asante Kotoko will be hosted by Nsoatreman FC in the matchday 18 games on Saturday at the Nana Kronmansah Park with kick-off scheduled at 15;00GMT.
