The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Seydou Zerbo has indicated that he has no doubt the club is ready to compete for titles.
The experienced gaffer was appointed as the new head coach of the Ghanaian club before the start of the football season.
Unfortunately, he did not have enough time to prepare his team for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
As a result, the team crashed out after losing to RC Kadiogo.
Thanks to the suspension of the Ghana Premier League, Coach Seydou Zerbo has been able to take his team through drills to understand his philosophy.
Speaking in an interview, the gaffer says the team is now ready to compete for trophies.
“The technical team, medical staff, and every other staff have helped to create a united team spirit and a positive environment to help us challenge strongly for all possible titles. I’m very impressed with the team,” Coach Seydou Zerbo said as quoted by Asante Kotoko.
While the club is out of Africa, Asante Kotoko will be competing for the Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup titles on the local scene.
