Asante Kotoko to end interest in Justice Blay – Report

Published on: 28 September 2020

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has reportedly ended their pursuit to sign Medeama SC midfield gem, Justice Blay.

According to Kumasi based Fox FM, negotiations between both parties have hit the rock and for that, the highly rated midfielder will continue his career with the Tarkwa based outfit.

Blay was farmed out on loan in 2019 to Kotoko and had an impressive season with the club but at the expiration of his loan he has returned to his parent club.

The porcupine warriors are believed to have been keen to sign Blay on permanent basis as they prepare to augment their squad for the 2020/2021 season.

The midfielder wished to continue with the Kumasi based club, but negotiations between Kotoko and Medeama has still not been reached and according to reports, Kotoko is set to pull out on Justice Blay.

Emmanuel Keyeke of Karela United is set to fill the vacuum left by Justice Blay at Kotoko.
