Asante Kotoko are set to appoint Prosper Nartey as their new coach ahead of the 2021/22 season, according to reports.

After going trophyless last term, the Porcupine Warriors have decided to replace coach Mariano Barreto with the young gaffer.

The club has already agreed personal terms with Richmond Lamptey, George Asamoah, and Richard Buodu as they look to strengthen their squad.

According to 442gh.com,  Asante Kotoko and Prosper Nartey have agreed a three-year renewable contract.

The club will officially announce coach Nartey as their trainer in the first week of September ahead of the upcoming 2021/22 domestic football calendar.
