Ashanti Gold SC part ways with Musah Mohammed

AshantiGold SC have parted ways with defender Musah Mohammed ahead of the 2020/21 football season, according to Kickgh.com.

Mohammed was deemed surplus to requirement by the Miners as they are now looking forward to recruiting young and talented stars to build a formidable side on the local scene in the near future.

The Miners are currently making plans for the CAF Confederations cup after they were selected by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the truncation of the 2019/20 football season.

''I can confirm to you that Musah Mohammed has been released by AshantiGold. We were all together when he received call from them to inform him about the decision."

"I can't expound on what happened with regards to this news as we are all in dismay over this latest development on Musah's issues," he told Kickgh.com

The defender is now a free agent and can join any club in the on-going transfer window.
