According to information picked up by footballghana.com, Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC is set to secure a $3 million sponsorship deal with an international Airline.
Though the name of the airline is yet to be revealed, it is understood that talks are far advanced and the necessary paperwork could be soon signed.
Speaking to Oyerepa FM, Kwabena Amponsah who brokered the iGimel kit sponsorship deal for the Miners, an agreement is likely to be reached before the next football season.
“If not for COVID-19, we should have concluded the deal with the Airline Company at $3m, they want to be title sponsors and am meeting them today to further the negotiations"
“Our previous discussions was that they sponsor us for ticketing during our Africa campaign but they preferred to be title sponsors"
“I am very optimistic we can reach an agreement so that the deal starts from next season”, Kwabena Amponsah said.
