The Board of Directors of Ashanti Gold have handed current CEO Kudjoe Fianoo a one-year extension to manage the affairs of the Club.
According to a Ghanasportsonline.com report Fianoo was given the mandate to head the management of the Club after a meeting with the board last Friday.
The GHALCA Chairman was close in losing his position as Chief Executive Officer at the Club after supporters had tendered in their request for the former GFA executive member to be sacked following the Club’s disappointing campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
AshGold failed to defend their League title after finishing 10th at the end of the season.
