Ashgold CEO says he will give out his car if they don’t beat Kotoko

Dr Kwaku Frimpong, the majority shareholder of AshantiGold SC says he will give out his one of his flashy cars if his outfit fails to beat Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The former Premier League champions will play their regional rivals on Sunday in the first leg of a friendly tie dubbed the ‘Golden Clash’.

Asante Kotoko dismantled their sworn rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in a two-legged friendly dubbed 'Super 2 Clash' in an aggregate scoreline of 4:0.

Despite Kotoko's impressive display in the 'Super 2 Clash', Dr Frimpong who was once in the gunning to be handed the management reigns as Kotoko has sworn to lead the Miners to victory against the Porcupine Warriors.

Dr Frimpong who is popularly referred to as Champion is in such a bullish mood that he is ready to wage on one of his flashy fleet of cars.

“If I don’t score Kotoko on Sunday I will give out my car before I leave the stadium," Dr Kwaku Frimpong Champion said in an interview with the press.

“We will score Kotoko 2:0 in Kumasi and if care is not taken 4:0 in Obuasi. The game is Champion vs. Dr Kyei.

“He is my brother but I will beat him on Sunday,” he added.

Dr Frimpong's flashy cars include a Bentley, Ferrari and Rolls Royce.
