Head coach for Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Ricardo da Rocha has emphasized that his side is aiming to lift the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the upcoming season.
The Ashanti Regional club is one of a few clubs tipped to go ahead and eventually clinch the top-flight league which has now been extended from a 16 to the 18-club competition.
Ahead of the start of the campaign, Miners manager Ricardo da Rocha has noted that his lads are very well prepared and looking forward to challenging for the ultimate prize.
“There is no problem in camp all the players are serious and everything is working nicely. We have the old players and new players.
“We are fully prepared to win the league title this year”, the Brazilian tactician said in an interview with TV3.
On the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, Ashanti Gold will host Accra Great Olympics at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
