"It is true I think the coaches were hoping to have him for the match because it is just one match. But after we spoke to the player and his club the club and the player came to a conclusion that this is the right time for him to rest and do a surgery so that's will be free," Asante Twum told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"According to the club for the past six weeks Inaki Williams when he plays football he plays through the pain barrier the manage when so that he plays. But the long term implication is that if they do treat it properly and he doesn't get enough time to recover it might affect him going into the future,"

"So they spoke to him and we all came to a conclusion that he should stay back in Spain to go through the medical process so that he gets enough time to recover go through rehabilitation before the new season. It is good for us, the player and his club the player's health is important the club he works with they are also determined to have him fully fit,"

"And of course we also don't want to bring in a player who is not fit, not strong and we don't get a full value from him. So we all came to a conclusion he stays in Spain to go through this particular process and then once he is full recovered we can have him. Straight away the technical team has invited Hamburger SV player Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer to come and replace Inaki Williams,"
