KAA Gent midfielder Elisha Owusu is being courted by Atletico Madrid with the Spanish outfit considering securing his services in case they lose Thomas Partey this summer.
The La Liga giant remains confident of keeping hold of their midfield gem but they are also preview to the possibility of seeing the Ghana star move on before the transfer window shuts.
While the Rojiblancos prepare for life after Thomas Partey, they have identified Elisha Owusu as his likely replacement.
It is understood that Atletico Madrid has already starting courting the Gent midfielder and will take the necessary steps to sign him whenever Partey’s exit edges closer.
Born in France, Elisha Owusu is of Ghanaian descent but has never featured for any of the national teams.
Over the past few years, he has significantly improved his game and is now one of the key players at KAA Gent.
Currently, he is valued at 15 million Euros and Atletico Madrid will be expected to pay a figure in that region in case they contact his club for his signing.
