The previous contract of the player was expected to expire on December 31, 2019. In a bid to ensure the Reds have him for the ongoing top-flight league, they have handed him a new contract.

At the secretariat of the Porcupine Warriors in Kumasi earlier today, Augustine Sefa put pen to paper and signed a one-year contract extension with the side.

“I want to thank the coach and the management for the confidence they have shown in me. I have given my hundred percent to this club and promises to increase it even more”, Sefa said in an interview with the Kotoko Express App after the extension was completed.

He continued, “Aside from the game, we have got players that need some leaders in the dressing room and my other colleagues and I will play that role very well”.
