Aziz Issah better than Abedi Pele when he was 18 – Karim Zito

Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito has likened Abdul Aziz Issah to Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’, stating that the teenager is better than the Ghana legend when he was at his age.

At just 18, Issah has impressed with his performances, notably aiding Dreams FC in winning the Ghana FA Cup.

Aziz’s impact extends to the CAF Confederation Cup, where his performances were instrumental in their run to the quarterfinal of the quarterfinal.

Issah's success isn't limited to club football; he played a key role in the Black Satellites' gold medal win at the 2023 African Games.

Zito, acknowledging Issah's talent, compared him to Abedi Pele, emphasizing his exceptional abilities and advocating for his inclusion in the national team.

“Abedi Pele was brought to Aburi at the age of 17. So, if he is 18, Abedi did not play like this boy in playing at this level. If I were in Black Stars, I would call him. It’s long overdue,” remarked Zito as quoted by OnuaSports.
