The former Augsburg player joined the Biscuitmen on a season-long loan from Chelsea FC, which will expire in the summer of 2022.

Rahman had to wait to play his first game after joining the club owing to FIFA World Cup qualifications for Qatar 2022.

27-year-old Ghanaian left-back played the full match, helping his club overcome an early own goal to record a 3-3 score with Queens Park Rangers.

Reading came back from a goal down to take a 3-1 lead because of John Swift's hat-trick, which included a goal in the first half and two in the second.

Andre Gray scored the visitors' second goal 11 minutes after the final whistle before Stefan Johansen sealed the win at 3-3 late into added time.
