Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Fredrick Asare, has promised fans of the club that the team will make them happy in this weekend’s Super Clash against Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The former Accra Lions player is confident the Porcupine Warriors will emerge victorious on Sunday though he anticipates an intense battle against the Phobians in the Ghana Premier League week 31 clash.

In an interview with Kotoko media, Asare expressed his determination ahead of the highly anticipated match in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko are coming into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in their previous league fixture.

Apologizing to the fans for the team's lackluster performance this season, Asare, with Kotoko currently positioned 10th in the league, assured supporters that the upcoming game promises excitement and quality football.

“I can assure fans that this is going to be a fantastic game. It’s going to be a good game and we will make them happy. We will make sure that we correct some mistakes we’ve committed going into this game and do whatever we can to beat Hearts of Oak on Sunday.”
