Bayern Munich are lining up a January bid for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
Bayern are keen on a striker to act as back-up to leading marksman Robert Lewandowski.
And BILD says Giroud, who would offer an experienced foil to Lewandowski, is now being discussed at the Allianz Arena.
Giroud could have moved in the summer when Ronald Koeman was desperate to buy him for Everton and was given permission to talk to the forward.
He had little intention of moving to Goodison Park, but Bayern are a much more attractive possibility.
