Head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Frimpong Manso couldn't contain his delight following their remarkable victory over Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Playing as the away team at the Accra Sports Stadium in the closing fixture of Matchday 24, Mawuli Wayo's goal in the 78th minute sealed the deal for Frimpong Manso's squad, securing their first away triumph in the latter half of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Reflecting on the win, the seasoned coach emphasized the team's progress throughout the campaign.

"I think the team is improving because if you look at our last seven games, we’ve won four, drawn two and lost one and this being our first away win against Hearts of Oak in Accra no less, so it means a lot for the team," stated the former Bofoakwa Tano coach.

Currently positioned 11th on the Premier League standings with 32 points, Gold Stars are gearing up to face Karela United next on Wednesday, April 10, at 15:00 GMT at DUN's Park.
