Ghana Premier League side, Bechem United have offered an unqualified apology to Asante Kotoko on behalf of its defender Samuel Osei Kuffour.
The defender was in action for the Hunters on Tuesday afternoon when the team drew goalless against the Porcupine Warriors.
In a game that served as the matchday 19 clash of the 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign, Osei Kuffuor displayed shocking misconduct.
During the first half of the game, he kicked Asante Kotoko striker Frank Mbella Etouga while he was on the turf.
To the surprise of many that follow the Ghana Premier League, Samuel Osei Kuffuor escaped a sending-off.
Today, Bechem United have issued a press release to apologise on behalf of the defender.
Meanwhile, Samuel Osei Kuffour has also apologised for his misconduct.
