Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle says the friendly game against Benin on Sunday in Cotonou will be special for her.

The Swiss was appointed to lead the Ghana womnen's national team last month, replacing Mercy Tagoe at the helm.

She disclosed that she is curious and proud to lead the Black Queens for the first time in a game.

"First game is always special not just for the country but for me as a coach," she told ghanafa.org. "I am very curious and proud to lead this country.

"We have worked a lot in principles this week, in the defence and offence so at the moment we just focus on our performance and not care too much about our opponents and try to bring our playing style on the pitch.

"I am full of confidence and full of joy and can’t wait to start my first game."
