Top-flight side Berekum Chelsea has signed former Ghana Premier League top-scorer Kofi Owusu to boost their squad ahead of the start of the upcoming season.
The experienced striker is returning to the Berekum-based club and has penned a 3-year deal in hopes of relaunching his career.
The 28-year-old has played for clubs such as Obuasi Ashanti Gold and Egyptian side Aswan in the past.
He has endured difficult stint after winning the top-scorer award at the end of the 2016 Ghana Premier season.
A move to Berekum Chelsea looks to be an ideal one for the goal poacher who is determined to provide the needed firepower for his new side in the upcoming season.
If he manages to impress in training, Kofi Owusu might be handed a starting role for the club when they open their campaign against Accra Hearts of Oak next weekend.
