Berekum Chelsea Football Club have announced three nominees for its Player of the Month award for March. The contenders are centre-back Yaw Dankwah, midfielders Kofi Essien, and Stephen Amankona.
The award is sponsored by Boafo Yena Group of Companies, who will present an undisclosed cash amount to the winner of the prestigious award.
Yaw Dankwah put in a solid performance at the back as The Bibires conceded just three goals in the month of March. Meanwhile, Kofi Essien and Stephen Amankona's creativity and flair in midfield were instrumental in the team's overall performance.

Collins Ameyaw was the first recipient of the award in September 2022.
Currently sitting at 6th place in the league standings with 43 points, Berekum Chelsea is preparing to face off against Accra Lions, their next league opponents. The match will take place at the Golden City Park on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
