Former Hearts of Oak forward, Bernard Arthur, has sent a personal message thanking Hearts of Oak for giving him the opportunity to serve them for a short time.

Arthur was part of the five players that were let go by the club earlier in August after their contracts expired.

The forward had his problems before the exit, chief among them his feud with current Phobians coach Edward Nii Odoom after complaints of hi minimum minutes. He has since apologized for his conduct.

It was reported that he is set for a move to rivals Great Olympics. Currently, he is a free agent and the move seems likely to happen.

"I would like to thank the Board of directors,Coaching staff and the players for the few time spent with them. “You can’t win always in life but even when loosing you opt to loose with a significant. I wish #AccraHeartsOfOak all the best and bring the spirit of the club back like I did for you against Liberty professionals✊?".
