Bernard Mensah on the verge of sealing move to Qatari club Al Shamal

Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah is currently engaged in serious negotiations with Qatari club Al Shamal, as he looks set to finalize a move in the coming days on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old player's contract with Turkish club Kayserispor is set to expire on June 30, paving the way for his departure.

Mensah has been an integral part of Kayserispor's roster since the 2018/19 season, showcasing his skills and talent on the field.

During his tenure with the Turkish club, Mensah made a notable impact, featuring in 91 matches and contributing with 16 goals and 15 assists.

His impressive performances have attracted the attention of Al Shamal, who are eager to secure his services for the upcoming season.

Mensah also reportedly had contacts with Saudi Pro League club, Al-Tai, but the state of negotiations with them is unkown. But there was a huge possibilty of a deal.

He retired from international football premarurely in November 2020.
