Bibiani Goldstars coach Frimpong Manso believes his outfit is making a steady progress following their 1-0 triumph over giants Hearts of Oak.

The Miners prevailed with a 1-0 win at the Accra Sports Stadium in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Mawuli Wayo capitalized on a goalkeeper error in the 79th minute when Sharif Shuaib's clearance rebounded off an opponent, allowing Wayo to seize the opportunity and slot the ball into an empty net.

Speaking after the game, Manso said, “The team is improving. In the past seven games, we’ve won four, drawn two and lost one. Picking our first away win against no other team like Hearts of Oak means a lot for us”

“Since I took over, we’ve never drawn a game at home, we’ve been winning all games on home turf but what was left was the away win and it has finally happened. This will give us a huge confidence in subsequent games” he said.

Bibiani Goldstars are eleventh on the Ghana Premier League standings after 24 matches into the campaign, accumulating 32 points.
