Birmingham Legion FC sign Ghanaian youngster Prosper Kasim for undisclosed fee

American club Birmingham Legion FC have completed the signing of former Black Satellites forward Prosper Kasim, according to Kickgh.com source

Kasim, 22, penned a deal with the USL Championship side on Sunday after ending his stay with Swedish club IFK Göteborg for an undisclosed fee.

‪The Ghanaian youngster is expected to join his new teammates in the early weeks of next year to commence pre-season with his new club.

During his stay with IFK Göteborg, he spent two seasons on loan with lower-tier sides Norrby and Mjällby.‬

‪In 2017 where he was on loan at Norrby, the winger made 21 appearances where he bagged three goals for his side.

‪During his time with Mjällby in 2018, he scored 10 goals in 27 matches and helped them gain promotion to the first division.‬

Kassim becomes the second Ghanaian footballer to join Birmingham Legion FC after Razak Cromwell of Dreams FC who signed for them weeks ago ahead of the season.
