Black Princesses Coach Yussif Basigi determined to reach World Cup in 2018

Head Coach of the Black Princesses of Ghana, Yussif Basigi says the team is determined to qualify for the World Cup in France, next year.

The Princesses brushed aside Kenya 10-1 on aggregate after an impressive 5-1 victory in Nairobi on Sunday.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies striker, Priscilla Adubea, who leads the qualifying goal scorers chat, scored a hat-trick with Olivia Anokye and Ernestina Abambila scoring the others.

Following the victory in Kenya, the former Black Queens Coach indicated the team is poised for France 2018.

“We are determined to qualify for the World Cup now we go back to prepare for Cameroon. We enjoyed our two-day stay here although the pitch wasn’t in a good condition,” Ghana coach Yussuf Basigi said.

The Black Princesses will next face Cameroon, who were allowed a free passed to this stage after Sierra Leone bowed out of the qualifiers.

Ghana will be looking at making a return to the mundial after failing to progress pass the group stages in Papua New Guinea, 2016.
