Black Queens goalkeeper Cynthia Findiib Konla confident Ghana will beat Benin in Cotonou

Goalkeeper for the Black Queens, Cynthia Findiib Konlan is poised for action ahead of Ghana’s game against Benin on Friday, October 27.

The Black Queens are taking on “Les Guépard femelle” tomorrow in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

Speaking ahead of the game, Black Queens goalkeeper Cynthia Findiib Konla indicated that preparations have been good so far.

She expressed optimism in the chances of Ghana securing a first-leg win in Cotonou before returning to Ghana for the second leg.

“Preparation is going on well here in Benin. We have two sessions of training which is good. I know and have believe in the team that we are going to continue with our winning process,” Ghana goalkeeper Cynthia Findiib Konla said.

The highly-rated shot-stopper continued, “We have done it before and we’re going to do it again because we have played with Benin, we know their strength and sicknesses.”

The first leg of the tie between Ghana and Benin will be played at Stade de l’Amitié – Général Mathieu Kerekou tomorrow.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
