Ghanaian female footballers Jenifer Cudjoe has shared his excitement after completing a move to Danish outfit FC Nordjaelland this summer.

The 29-year-old midfielder joins the club on one-year deal and is expected to play a huge role for the side in the Women ‘s league.

Cudjoe brings with her a wealth of experience, having most recently played in the best American soccer series, the National Women's Soccer League, where she turned out for NJ/NY Gotham FC.

“It feels fantastic to have signed with FC Nordsjælland. I always had a desire to play in Europe and when this opportunity presented itself I had no doubt that it was the right thing for me”

“FC Nordsjælland is something completely different from what I am used to, both in terms of playing style, but also in relation to how you act on and off the pitch. It is fantastic to see how the club cares for the young players and helps develop them as players and people. It is something that I myself have always cared about, which is why the club's work in developing the young people to be the best version of themselves appeals to me”

“I myself started my career quite young and have learned a lot by playing in the Ghanaian national team and around the world. I therefore hope that I can be a role model on and off the pitch, and contribute with a healthy approach to being a footballer”
