Black Satellites planning friendly with Western regional select side before WAFU U-20 tourney

The Ghana U-20 team is set to play a friendly match against a Western Regional side before the start of the WAFU U-20 Qualifying Tournament, coach Karim Zito has revealed.

The Black Satellites team has been pitted in Group B of the upcoming tournament in November where they will battle with giants Nigeria and Cote d'Ivoire.

To ensure his team adequately prepares, Coach Karim Zito has hinted at plans to play one last friendly match before heading to Togo for the tournament next month.

“We looking at playing another trial game, possibly against a Western Region select side before we wrap up our preparations ahead of the tournament”, the U-20 head coach told Ghanafa.org.

The 2020 WAFU U-20 qualifying tournament is scheduled to be staged between November 14 -29, 2020.
