Black Stars arrive after eliminated from 2019 Afcon

The Black Stars of Ghana have arrived in the country following their elimination from the on-going 2019 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.

A contingent comprising players, technical and management team landed at the Kotoka International Airport on Thursday morning.

Coach Kwesi Appiah's side were knocked out of the 32nd edition of the tournament after losing 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia in the round of 16 last.

Four players namely Kassim Adams, Kwadwo Asamoah, Andy Yiadom and Thomas Teye Partey left for their clubs to start pre-season training.

Also, Jonathan Mensah has left for America to continue his recovery process at the Columbus Crew.

Ghana are yet to clinch the Africa Cup of Nations title since 1982.
