Black Stars 'B' head coach Maxwell Konadu has called-up five Asante Kotoko players following their impressive performance against Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League on Sunday, Footballghana.com can report.

The five players include in-form shot-stopper Felix Annan, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Justice Blay, who joined Asante Kotoko on a season-long loan deal from Medeama SC, Richard Arthur, and winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.

Maxwell Konadu has augmented his squad ahead of the crucial qualifier against Burkina Faso.

Footallghana understands that the five players of Asante Kotoko will start training with the team at the Paa Joe Park on Monday.

The team have already started preparations with 27 players for their doubleheader tie against Burkina Faso for a place in next year’s CHAN tournament.

The former Asante Kotoko's side are also expected to represent the country in the upcoming WAFU tournament to be staged in Senegal.
