Black Stars coach Chris Hughton watches Bibiani Gold Stars vs Asante Kotoko

Head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton was in attendance at Bibiani Gold Stars match week 2 clash against Asante Kotoko.

The game was played at the Dun's Park in Bibiani.

The technical team of the Black Stars led by Chris Hughton are touring match centres as they seek to scout top talents for the senior team.

Chris Hughton took over as Black Stars coach in February 2023. He signed a 21-month contract with the four times AFCON champions.

The former Premier League manager recently called up two domestic-based players in Ghana's games against Central African Republic and Liberia. Medeama duo Jonathan Sowah and Hamidu Fatawu received the call up.

Hafiz Konkoni who now plays for Yanga has also previously received a call up.

Bibiani Gold Stars defeated Asante Kotoko 2-1 to record their first win of the 2023/24 campaign. Prince Owusu Kwabena scored the first goal in the 66th minute. Sherif Mohammed of Asante Kotoko made it 1-1 in the 71st minute and Eric Bosomtwi scored the winning goal for the home side.
