Ghana coach CK Akonnor and Technical Director, Bernhard Lippert has been spotted at the Accra Sports Stadium watching the derby game between Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics.
The Mantse derby is one of the biggest derbies in the history of the country and it is expected to produce some intriguing results.
Akonnor, who is bent on building a formidable team with the blend of local players and foreign players has been at most of the match venue in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Akonnor and the technical handlers of the team have been scouting for good players.
He is expected to name local players in his squad for the final two games for the 2022 African Cup of Nations [Afcon] qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome in March later this year.
Akonnor has already been to Cape Coast and Obuasi.
