Ghana's first-choice goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacott is expected to leave English League Two side, Swindon Town as a free agent, Footballghana.com can authoritatively confirm.

The young and promising goalkeeper will not renew his contract with the club.

Wollacott has kept 10 clean sheets in the 37 league games that he has participated in this season.

He played a vital role in Black Stars' qualification to the 2022 World Cup.

In the first leg of the playoff games at the Baba Yara Stadium, Wollacott was the difference.

In the return leg at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, the 25-year-old again came to the party and kept Ghana's hopes alive of playing at the Mundial in Qatar later this year.

Wollacott will be hoping to secure a club this summer as he hopes to keep his place in the Black Stars.

In October 2021, Wollacott received his first call-up to the Ghana national team for the 2022 World Cup qualification game against Zimbabwe.

He debuted with them in a 3–1 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification win over Zimbabwe on 9 October 2021.

Wollacott was part of the Ghanaian team in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations that was eliminated at the group stage of the competition.
