Asante Kotoko midfielder Sheriff Mohammed has acknowledged the challenges of integrating both experienced and fresh talent into a cohesive unit.

As the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season kicked off, the club faced a rocky start, prompting questions about the blend of experience and youth.

However, a recent upturn in fortunes has seen Asante Kotoko clinch consecutive victories, hinting at a potential turning point for the team.

The Porcupine Warriors beat Accra Lions 1-0 and defeated Aduana Stars 1-0. Kalo Ouattara and Richmond Lamptey were the heroes in both games.

"As we came in we are old players but those who came in it took us some time to blend with them but as we are playing from match day four going on now we know each other.," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

So now we are blending well the new guys and the kids are doing well because they have a lot of talent. Every day we keep advising them and guiding them just for them to explore their talent," he added.
