The Division One side were fourth on the Zone One table with 23 points before the football season was cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic.

The club has made fruitless efforts at coming back to top flight football in the country since joining the second tier side about 14 years ago.

Speaking in an interview with the Mirror Sports, Mr Nyarko was confident that their flirt with the lower division was about to end as they planned to work their way back to the apex soon.

“We have kept pushing to fulfil the club’s ambitions of playing in the Ghana Premier League with a new phase to get the team to its destination but it has not been easy,” he revealed.

“We are fully prepared for the ultimate with all our strength; we are not scared of the teams participating in the competition,” he stated.
