Bournemouth manager Howe pleased with fightback in Yeovil win

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has expressed his delight at the Cherries' comeback victory over Yeovil Town.

The Cherries continued their fine run of form in pre-season by claiming a 3-1 victory over Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Wednesday evening and the goalscorers for the Cherries during the encounter were Benik Afobe and Lys Mousset.

Howe said: "It was a game played in really tough conditions. The wind was a big factor in the game. We tried to keep the ball on the floor and not let the weather play a big part in the game. I thought we did that well and overall I was pleased with the performance.

"We were disappointed to go a goal down and with the manner in which we conceded from a set piece. That was something we had talked about and working on, but unfortunately it didn't show today.

"I thought we did well to come back. We played some really good football and created a number of good chances. We didn't take a lot of those chances, which was frustrating, but thankfully we got the lead and we comfortable from there."
