Braydon Manu named in Bundesliga 2 team of the week

Braydon Manu has been named in Sofascore's Bundesliga 2 team of the week for his wonderful performance for Darmstadt against Paderborn 07 on Sunday. 

Darmstadt secured a 2-1 home win over against Paderborn 07 in the German Bundesliga 2 on Sunday, with the help of Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu’s goal and assist.

The 26-year-old was handed a starting role and lasted 69 minutes as his outfit secured victory at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor in week 27 encounter.

Darmstadt shot into the lead through Matthias Bader in the 35th minute mark after connecting from Manu pass.

Few minutes to recess, the visitors restored parity through Florent Muslija as the first half ended in a 1-1 draw.

After the break, the Ghanaian international added the second goal to propel his Darmstadt outfit to secure a 2-1 win at the end of the game.

Manu has scored five goals and provided five assists in 21 matches in the German Bundesliga 2 this season.

Despite earning call up, he is yet to make an appearance for the Black Stars of Ghana.
