Ghana Premier League side, AshantiGold SC have sacked their Sporting Director, Roy Arthur.
Former BA United Chief Executive Officier took up the position in May 2020 after a new management was unveiled.
But the reason for his sack is currently unknown.
Arthur is a renowned football administrator in the country and has worked with a number of clubs.
Arthur was in contention for the Central Regional Football Association Chairman, a position he missed out.
Ashgold will represent the country in the 2020/21 Caf Confederations Cup campaign.
The Miners will also begin their Ghana Premier League season with a game against Karela United at the Len Clay Stadium.
