BREAKING: Sporting CP announces signing of Ghana star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku on a five-year deal

Portuguese giants, Sporting CP have announced the signing of Ghana star Abdul Fatawu Issahaku on a long-term deal.

The player has in the last few weeks been training with the club’s reserve side ahead of the day when he could be officially offered a contract when he turned 18.

In a communique from Sporting CP, the club has confirmed that the former Dreams FC man has committed his future to the club by signing a five-year contract.

“Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, 18, is a reinforcement for Sporting Clube de Portugal. The footballer from Ghana has signed for five seasons and has a release clause of 60 million euros, having been presented this Wednesday at the Cristiano Ronaldo Academy, in Alcochete,” a statement from Sporting CP has said.

After inking the contract, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku can now gradually be introduced into the first team.

He is regarded as one for the future and will be worked on to continue his development while playing for Sporting CP in Portugal.
