Brighton and Hove Albion attacker Glenn Murray has stated that the Seagulls are ready to go to war against Crystal Palace.

Bitter rivals Brighton and Palace will be squaring off against each other at the Amex Stadium in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup on Monday night and ahead of the clash, Seagulls attacker Murray has stated that his side are ready to go to war against the Eagles.

He said: "It is a great one for the fans, being our arch rivals in the FA Cup. But probably with the way both clubs are in the Premier League, we could have done without the tie.

"Both sets of fans create a good atmosphere and that is good for us on the pitch, but it was just one of those which could have been a more comfortable afternoon for both clubs. Instead we have got a war again."
