Werder Bremen has now shifted its focus to Christian Conteh, for whom they would not have to pay a transfer fee, after signing Naby Keita on a free transfer.
Werder Bremen is reportedly one of the clubs interested in Christian Conteh, according to reports in Germany. The Weser club would not be required to pay a transfer fee because the attacker is now without a club after leaving Feyenoord Rotterdam.
Conteh's adaptability on the attack might make him appealing for Bremen. He was born in Hamburg and is capable of playing any attacking position, although he prefers the right flank.
Conteh spent the last season on loan with Dynamo Dresden, where he was able to acquire experience in the third tier. For the East German team, Conteh made 27 appearances, scoring three goals and assisting three.
Hansa Rostock and other teams from the 2nd Bundesliga are reportedly interested in the 23-year-old in addition to Bremen.
